FAQ

This FAQ ensures riders are prepared and confident, setting clear expectations for the adventure ahead.

What skill level is required for these tours?

Our tours are designed for riders with at least a medium skill level. You should be confident riding in a variety of conditions, including twisty mountain roads, urban traffic, and open highways. Experience with group riding is a plus but not mandatory, as we’ll cover group riding etiquette in the pre-tour briefing.

Do I need a motorcycle license?

Yes, all participants must hold a valid motorcycle license recognized in the countries we’ll be traveling through. An International Driving Permit (IDP) may also be required, depending on your country of origin and the destinations.

Can I bring my own motorcycle?

We offer several options of premium, meticulously maintained motorcycles to suit your preference. Under unique circumstances, riders might be able to bring their own motorcycles, provided they are in excellent condition and meet the requirements for touring. Please contact us for details and requirements.

What is the fitness level required?

Riders should be in good physical condition to handle multiple days of riding, typically covering distances of 250 kilometers (155 miles) or more per day. While our tours include regular breaks, a full day in the saddle requires stamina and focus to fully enjoy the experience.

Is travel and accident insurance required?

We strongly recommend that all participants have their own travel and accident insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip disruptions, or unforeseen events. While the motorcycles include an insurance package, personal coverage ensures peace of mind throughout the journey.

What’s included in the tour package?

Our tours typically include:

  • Premium motorcycle rental (if not bringing your own bike).
  • Luxurious and extraordinary accommodations.
  • Gourmet meals, including select beverages.
  • Guided routes with a professional team.
  • Luggage transport in a backup vehicle.

Airfare, personal expenses, fuel, and optional activities are usually not included.

Can non-riding companions join the tour?

Non-riding companions are able to join the tour as pillions, allowing them to enjoy the stunning scenery and group camaraderie without riding. Please contact us for special pricing and arrangements.

What happens if the weather is bad?

While we strive to select the best seasons for riding, weather can sometimes be unpredictable. Our guides will adapt routes as needed to ensure safety and comfort while keeping the experience enjoyable. Please pack appropriate riding gear for varying weather conditions.

How large are the groups?

To maintain an exclusive and personalized experience, group sizes are limited to 8-12 riders. This ensures safety, camaraderie, and individualized attention from our team.

What should I pack?

We recommend bringing:

  • Your riding gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, pants, boots, etc.).
  • Layers for varying climates (especially for mountain tours).
  • A small day pack for personal items.
  • Any medications or essentials you may need.

A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Safety & Support

Before embarking on your unforgettable journey, we ensure every rider is fully prepared!

Pre-Tour Safety Briefing

Before embarking on your unforgettable journey, we ensure every rider is fully prepared and confident through a comprehensive pre-tour safety briefing. This session covers essential tips and guidelines tailored to the unique aspects of riding in Europe and navigating mountain roads:

  • European Riding Rules: Learn key regulations, such as understanding roundabouts, speed limits, and lane usage in different countries. We also cover the nuances of local driving cultures to help you anticipate and adapt on the road.
  • Mountain Riding Techniques: Gain insights into handling hairpin turns, steep inclines, and unpredictable weather conditions that can arise in alpine terrain. Our experienced guides will share expert tips on maintaining control, balancing braking and acceleration, and maximizing safety on curving mountain routes.
  • Group Riding Etiquette: We review best practices for riding in a group, including maintaining safe distances, hand signals, and ensuring cohesive and enjoyable journeys for all participants.

This briefing ensures you are comfortable with the route, the bike, and riding alongside your fellow adventurers, so you can focus on the thrill of the open road.

Backup Vehicle Support

To make your journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible, we provide a dedicated backup vehicle for every tour. This vehicle ensures:

  • Luggage Transport: Travel light and ride freely knowing that all your belongings are securely transported in the backup vehicle. You’ll have access to your luggage at every stop without the burden of carrying it on your bike.
  • Emergency Assistance: In case of mechanical issues or unforeseen circumstances, the support vehicle and our expert crew are always nearby to ensure minimal disruption to your adventure.
Insurance for Peace of Mind

We prioritize your safety and peace of mind, which is why every motorcycle comes with a comprehensive insurance package provided by our trusted rental partners. However, we strongly encourage all participants to have their own travel and accident insurance as an added layer of protection. This ensures coverage for unforeseen incidents, medical needs, or trip disruptions beyond what the motorcycle insurance provides.

With these measures in place, you can focus on what matters most—enjoying the ride and immersing yourself in the adventure of a lifetime.
